IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person that opens an account.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
When you open an account, we will ask for your?
- Name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Other information that will allow us to identify you
We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
In some cases, identification will be requested for current account holders if original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account.
In all cases, protection of our customers’ identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
We ask for your understanding as we work to support these efforts to maintain the security of your funds and our country.

If you're like most people, you may be worried about unexpected, real-life events that could happen during the term of your loan. Things such as losing your job or getting injured that leave you scrambling to pay your monthly bills.
PROTECT YOURSELF
Credit Protection protects you, your family and your credit rating. You have the peace of mind knowing your monthly loan payments will be cancelled in the event of accidental death and suspends payments in the event of death, disability, involuntary unemployment, hospital stay or family leave. With Credit Protection, your consumer or home equity loan payments* will be cancelled or suspended without penalty, added interest, or being reported as delinquent to the credit bureau when one of the covered events occur:
DISABILITY
Helps you avoid bills piling up as you try to regain your health and earning capacity. Use as a supplement to any disability coverage you may have at work (which usually only covers 60% of pay).
INVOLUNTARY UNEMPLOYMENT (IU)
Gives you assurance during a difficult time that one of your major monthly expenses will be taken care of as you search for new employment.
HOSPITAL STAY
Provides peace of mind and one less worry while you’re recovering in hospital.
FAMILY LEAVE
Helps your family with a major expense during a traumatic time – such as the loss of a job or family member.
NO OBLIGATION FOR 30 DAYS
When you apply for Credit Protection, you have 30 days to review your plan. If you are not satisfied with the plan or if your situation changes, you can cancel it at any time. If you do so within the first 30 days, any fees paid will be refunded.
PLAN CHOICES
There are six plans to choose from. Pricing will vary based on the level of coverage you choose and the balance of your loan. There are eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions that apply to this plan. Please ask for a copy of the Credit Protection Agreement, which provides additional details and answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Credit Protection: This product is optional. Your purchase of Credit Protection is optional. Whether or not you purchase this product will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any existing credit agreement you have with Generations. We will give you additional information before you are required to pay for Credit Protection. This information will include a copy of the contract containing the terms and conditions of Credit Protection. There are eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions that could prevent you from receiving Credit Protection benefits. You should carefully read your Credit Protection contract for a full explanation of the terms and conditions of the Credit Protection plan.

In order for us to evaluate your eligibility for these options, you should be prepared to present information necessary to assess your financial ability to meet a modified or restructured loan obligation. In general terms such information will include:
- Current & future income.
- Debts & obligations.
- Tax returns for the past two years.
- Any other documents pertaining to your financial situation.

Loan Rates
Your Annual Percentage Rate is determined by several factors, including your credit history and the term of the loan. Your specific Interest Rate and APR rate will be disclosed prior to any loan advance.
